It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Said Farhat on Friday October 30, 2020. The beloved husband of Milia Farhat, died peacefully in his home, surrounded by loved ones. Devoted and loving father of Suzanne (Paul McCarney), Caroline (Assaf Chaar), Eli, Michelle (Pierre Haddad), and Christian. Predeceased by his siblings Faridi, Jacqueline, Elias and Khalil. He will be eternally loved and missed by his 10 grandchildren, in whom he took great pride of being their jiddo: Alyssa, Andrew, Alexandre, Joey, Matthew, Isabella, George, Milia, Alexa, and Nicholas.

Youssef will be fondly remembered for his unwavering love of his family. He exemplified an unrivaled work ethic and lifelong commitment to his faith, and piety.

His closest family members and friends were blessed to have shared Joseph’s remarkable life and to have received his everlasting love, and they will continue to advance his legacy in his honour.

Public visitations will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2020 in the Sacred Space at Beechwood Cemetery. Registration to attend the visitation is required at www.beechwoodottawa.ca .  Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 11:00 am at Saint Charbel Parish Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald Street, Ottawa. Due to government regulations, registration, face mask and social distancing are required. Registration for the Funeral Service must be completed at www.stcharbel.ca. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Charbel Maronite Parish, Ottawa would be appreciated.

Dear Family Members of 3ammo Youssef,
I am so saddened by this news. Life took its toll and I was not able to see him ? before he goes ahead of us to Our Lord Jesus. I will pray daily for him during the next while. I will see you on Monday, specially you Tante Mila and Micheline.
