It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pauline Prevost (née Tsapralis) who passed peacefully surrounded by family on April 14, 2024 after a valiant 27 year battle with cancer. We are grateful for her presence in our lives.

Beloved wife of Daniel Prevost with whom she shared her life for over 50 years. She is survived by her brother Jim and his family, her children Jennifer (Frederick Manfredi), Darren (Marnie Hirshhorn), and Melanie, and her grandchildren Frederick, Etienne, and Claire.

She was born in Greece in 1948 and migrated with her family to Toronto, Canada in 1956. She became an elementary teacher who worked for over 40 years. She had a passion for teaching children and fostering their curiosity.

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at the Borden & Flemming Suites of the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa on Wednesday, April 24th from 1:00PM to 4:00PM

We are grateful for the values that she has instilled in us, and although we will miss her dearly, we wish to celebrate her life and the joy that she brought to all of us.

Memorial donations may be made in Pauline’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Dear Jenn and family,

So sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I will always remember her for being so organized and being on top of where and what Jenn was up to as a teen and her delicious cooking at different family events that I had the pleasure of attending, especially her baklava.
Hugs to you and family.
Love,
Nancy and family

Forever loved, always remembered. Andy and I will miss you . Thanks for all the help you gave me when I was teaching grade one. What a gem of a teacher you were. You produced the best baklava and biscotti in Ottawa. Our deepest condolences to the family

Dear Dan, Jennifer, Darren, Melanie and family,

Pauline was always so positive about battling her cancer, and fought so hard to keep it at bay. She is at peace right now and we are sure that she is looking down upon your entire family from heaven. She will be missed by our family. She was well loved and we will treasure our memories with her.

A donation to The Canadian Cancer Society has been made in her name.

Love,

Jamie and Marilyn
