Amber was born and raised in Bracebridge, a small town in the heart of Muskoka. At the age of 16 Amber began working at the local funeral home; where she discovered her love for the industry. After graduating from Humber College and receiving her Funeral Director’s License in 2010, Amber accepted an internship at a funeral home here in Ottawa, since then Amber has fallen in love with the city. The ability to help families during their most difficult time of need, in what could possibly be their darkest days is something that Amber has a natural capacity to do.
Amber joined the Beechwood family in 2015 and is excited to see what the future holds. As a Level I Preceptor, Amber has a passion for working with and training students coming into the Funeral Services industry. Receiving her Certification as a Celebrant in 2018, is another way Amber can help guide families through their grief journey.
For those closest to Amber she is best known for her passion for music. Amber finds peace and comfort in playing piano, guitar and singing with friends and family. Amber can be found enjoying time with her family, camping, singing around the bonfire or out on the water.
