The Pillar Society will continue its tradition at the CSIS National Memorial Cemetery of commemorating and remembering all those who served Canada at home and abroad in the Canadian military or in civilian roles.
We pay tribute to those who have made personal contributions involving commitment, hardship and sacrifice, and we remember in particular the tens of thousands of Canadians who paid the ultimate price in the First and Second World Wars, in Korea, in Afghanistan and in dozens of peacekeeping missions over the past 100 years.
