In 2001, Beechwood Cemetery and the Polish Congress of Ottawa entered into an agreement to set aside a section for the exclusive use of families of Polish descent. More than 100 lots of varying sizes within Station 11 of Section 110 will be used for many generations of the Polish community.
On November 1, 2007, the Polish Congress of Ottawa, in partnership with The Beechwood Cemetery Foundation, completed a central feature dedicated to the Polish community of Ottawa.
