With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Mary aka Flo Healey on the 27th of March 2025 at Hillel Lodge Ottawa. Born in St. John’s Newfoundland, Flo was part of a unique generation. Their childhood framed by the great depression and WW2 was their adolescence. Flo leaves behind two sons Sean (Dana), Tom (Lynda), 5 grandchildren Bryce (Sarah), Erin, Kaine, Logan, Ryan and 3 great grandchildren Finn, Irie and Legacy. Flo was a dog or cat’s best friend and a dedicated supporter of the Ottawa humane society. She also took great pride in her skill as an upholsterer, and her baking kept friends and neighbours supplied with pies and treats from her oven.
Interment will be a family event, and a celebration of life will be scheduled for a future date.
Donations to the Ottawa Humane Society or a pet rescue of your choice in Flo’s name would be appreciated.
