I knew Vic through curling. I was his partner in competitive curling on and off for close to 20 years. Vic loved to compete, and he was very good at it.

Sgt Hosson ( Vic ), you truly had a love for aviation. You have won your wings and are now able to soar high above the lofty clouds forever.

Victor was my godfather. It had been a few years since I had seen him. I have memories of a man who was passionate about his profession and curling!!! I also have very fond memories of family gatherings when I was young. Vic had this gift for learning music. Our family parties revolved around music where just about everyone played an instrument. It was always a pleasure to chat with him about all subjects. Vic, take your wings and fly!

I curled with and against Vic at the RA Curling club. He was a real gentleman. He taught me a lot about curling and life. In recognition of his service to the club, I nominated him for a life membership and was very pleased that the RA chose to grant it. Rest in peace, Vic.

I have known Vic since the mid 80’s when Laura and I curled together in the ladies league at the Rockcliffe Curling Club. He watched all our games and provided great advice on how to improve our game. He was a kind and thoughtful man. May you rest in peace Vic!

Laura, my prayers are with you and your family at this time. Vic was my skip for over 10 years at the RACC.
