It is with deep love and sadness that the family announces the passing of Halim Saab, who left this world peacefully on November 25, 2025, at the age of 92. Born in Lebanon on October 23, 1933, he lived a long, full, and generous life.
Predeceased by his loving wife Marie Saab, who he is now reunited with.
He will be greatly missed by his children Samira (Toufic), Samir, Nazira, Tony, and Johnny.
He was the loving grandfather to Jason, Tanya, Natalie, Lee, Nadine, Shaun, and Carley. Halim was also blessed to witness the joy brought by his great-grandchildren: Nicholas, William, Megan, Liam, Maya, Bennett, Charlotte, Mickey and Oliver.
After immigrating to Canada from Lebanon in 1956, Halim built a life with Marie that reflected the very best of the Canadian immigrant experience. Through hard work, perseverance, and unwavering integrity, he provided for his family and contributed meaningfully to his community. His life stands as a testament to what dedication and opportunity can achieve.
Family and friends are invited to Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa) for Visitation on Friday, November 28th at 9.a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 10.a.m. and an interment at 11.a.m. in Section 110.
