It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jim on Monday, November 24, 2025, at the age of 71. Jim passed away peacefully at home, with family by his side. He will be deeply missed by his cherished wife, Ann Marie, who he was happily married to for 52 years. Predeceased by his beloved parents Emil and Barbara Major and his much loved son Jimmy. He was a loving and devoted father to Jimmy and Jennifer (Matt) and a very proud grandpa to Kyle and Cohen. Jim will be greatly missed by his siblings Ted, Melanie (Greg), Barbara and Bill, and will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.

Oh I am so sorry and shocked to see notice this today. Jim was such a good friend to Gary and Gary loved having long chats with him. He really was lucky to lead such a charmed life with Ann Marie and his family. Now Gary and Jim can get back to those chats. Hugs Ann Marie

I'm pretty shocked and really sad to read this news this morning...please accept my sincerest condolences Ann Marie and Jennifer , Matt and the boys, Melanie and Barbara and Billy and Ted and all of the rest of the extended families! I always thought of Jim as the "rock" in so many ways. I feel pretty thankful to have loads of fun memories to think of when I think of Jim!
