Lorine (nee:Coleman) Spofford passed away after a short illness in Smith Falls Hospital. She was born and raised in Hampton, New Brunswick, graduated Prince Edward Island School of Nursing in 1955, worked most of her career as an ER nurse in Newfoundland and Ottawa. She married Charles Spofford of the RCMP in Aug. 1958, spent 18 years in Newfoundland, where she received the honour of being the unpaid second man. She is predeceased by her parents, sister Sandra, son Rob, and loving husband Charles. She is survived by her children: Anne, Wendy, and Richard, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
