Salwa Moussa

Peacefully and surrounded by her family in the hospital at the age of 84, fell asleep in the Lord.  Her great love and strong faith will be dearly missed by her family.

Devoted wife of the late Youssef Moussa. Loving mother of Rose Sleiman (Mike), and forever cherished by her three grandchildren Charlaine, Joseph (Anastasia) and Marlo. Loving aunt to Georgette (Mounir), George (Colette), Amal, Chamoun (Colette), Emile (Mona), Elham (Tony), Jean (Gloria) and Elie. Survived by her sister-in-law Marie Chamoun.

Predeceased by her brother Joseph Chamoun (Marie), and sisters Marie (Estefan), Wahida (Youssef) and Josephine (Dahoud), and her dear nephew George Chamoun.

Also predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Abdallah and Hatune Ozgun, Souro and Gabriel Jobran, Meleke Ozgun and Naima Erkan (Sabo). Also survived by her many nieces and nephews in Europe, Lebanon and Brazil.

A Funeral service was held on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Saints Peter and Paul Church. Service was given exceptionally by visiting Father Jacques Hanna from Saint Mary's and Saint Jacques of Nisibis Syriac Orthodox Cathedral in Montreal. Interment at Notre-Dame Cemetery, 455 Montréal Road.

There will be a 40th Day Mass held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Saints Peter and Paul Church.
