Such a good man. He was so happy with my brother Karl on this earth and now he will join him once again to continue his eternal life with him as it was meant to be . Rest in peace my brother-in-law. Love you.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Gilles. He was a devoted family man, someone whose warmth and kindness touched everyone around him. I had the privilege of working with him, and I will always remember his good humour and the joy he brought to every project. He is deeply missed. My heartfelt sympathy.

I am extremely saddened in the passing of Gilles Montpetit. I considered myself truly blessed to have been able to meet both Gilles and Karl on a cruise ship in Hawaii. Such a beautiful couple. Gilles was a very kind-hearted, special, remarkable and simply delightful person. A singularly amazing individual. You will be sorely missed, dear friend. “Now cracks a noble heart. Good night, sweet prince, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest”.
