It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edward "Eddie" Gordon Hawn on December 15, 2025, in the Philippines. Eddie was a naturally gifted and truly talented musician who brought joy to many through his music. He played guitar, piano, ukulele, and harmonica with passion and ease. Eddie loved spending time at his cottage in the Laurentians, where he enjoyed fishing and relaxing with his beloved dogs.
Eddie is the cherished son of Yolande Cousineau (Guy) and the late Gordon Hawn (Melanie). He will be deeply missed by his sisters Lynda Hawn, Susan Oakes (Michael), Debbie Hawn, Ashley Danh (Trung), and Desiree Evancio; and by his step-siblings Guy Cousineau (Jasmine), Julie Laroque (Al), Sylvie Jonsson (Steve), and Denis Cousineau (Cathy). Eddie also leaves behind his adored nieces and nephews: Spencer, Nicholas, Émilie, Tiana, Kristina, Isabelle, Gabrielle, Chase, Élizabeth, Caroline, and Kaleo.
Eddie's love for music, nature, and family will forever remain in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 27 at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa. The family will receive condolences from 12 p.m. A reception will follow.

I worked with him, we became friends
He spent time with me and my family
He was a good guy
Found it funny when I called in December for the holiday. He did not call me back and he allways called me during holidays.
Rest in peace my friend.
