It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs Rollande (née Coderre) Bolduc, residing in Ottawa, on March 28, 2026, at the age of 85. She was the daughter of the late Donat Coderre and the late Mabel Miron, and the wife of Réjean Bolduc.
Mrs. Bolduc will be deeply missed by her husband Réjean and by her children Carole and Stéphane Bolduc (Martine Lauzon and her son Maxime). Also grieving her loss are her sisters, brothers, and extended family. She was the sister of the late Calixte (the late Jeanne Gauthier), Thérèse (Claude Dubeau), Rita (the late Ronald Paradis), and Rolland (the late Ghislaine Boisclair). She was the sister-in-law of the late Réjeanne (Paul-André Lacroix), the late Carmélyne (Jean Garneau), Gabrielle (Yvon Carrier), Lucille (the late Gaétan Gagnon), Marcel (Carole Gagnon), Roger (Francine Proteau), Michel, the late Alain, and Guy (Colette Fortin). She will also be remembered by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Rollande Bolduc was born in La Reine, a village in Abitibi, Quebec. She pursued her studies in Haileybury, Ontario, before moving to Montreal where she met her future husband. She married Réjean Bolduc in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, beginning a 58-year marriage that led them to live in North Bay, Ontario, and then Ottawa, Ontario, for over 50 years, and to raise their two children together. Rollande Bolduc had a career in the Canadian Federal Public Service. Her interests were varied: walks,
gardening, travel, and she was the author of a book series 'Jusqu' à la Fin du Chemin', while enjoying beautiful moments with her family.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the palliative care centre at Maison de l'Est d'Ottawa for the excellent care provided.
The final farewell will take place at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church, located at 435 Montreal Rd, Ottawa (Ontario), at a later date.
The burial will take place at Beechwood Cemetery, located at 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa,Ontario, at a later date.
