It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bella Ann Burgess, who passed away peacefully on February 13th at age of 80.
Born on January 01, 1946 in Sudbury Ontario. Bellas was a devoted wife, loving mother and proud grandmother, whose kindness and strength shaped the lives of those around her. She was the beloved wife of Michael A. Burgess for 61 years and together they built a home centered on family with unwavering support.
Bella will be deeply missed by her husband Michael, her son Jeffrey, and her cherished grand Children Jordan, Mason, and Madison who brought her immense pride and joy. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister Vivian Ross/Lantz N.S., bothers Merv Holowanky/KakabecaFalls ON, Kevin Holowanky/Grand Prarie Alb., nieces and nephews Jennifer Roebuck/Edmonton Alb, Suzanne Azizan Ottawa ON, Stevie Holowanky/Thunder Bay ON, Tyler and Becky Ross Lantz N.S
Bella was predeceased by her son Allen whose recent passing was a profound loss to her and the entire family. While the grief of losing him weighed heavily on her heart, she remained a source of love and strength to those around her.
Bella was a committed teacher and proud member of the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (EFTO). Throughout her career she taught in Capreol ON, Petawawa ON, and in Germany, touching the lives of many students before retiring from teaching in 2000. She had a deep appreciation for musical instruments, golf, table games, puzzles, reading, and decorating and enjoyed sharing her knowledge with those around her. She also enjoyed organizing activities for the family gatherings and ensure everyone had fun.
A celebration of life will be held during the spring, a season she deeply loved as the golf courses reopened and the flowers began to bloom. Further details will be shared with the family and friends at a later date.

Bella will be remembered for her love of family, her dedication to education, and the lasting impact she had on all who knew her.
