Passed away peacefully in hospital on February 12, 2026, at the age of 97.
She was the beloved and devoted wife of the late Bill (William Parker), sharing 70 years of marriage filled with love, partnership, and family.
Loving and dedicated mother to Garth (Brenda) of Calgary, Greg, Kim (Malcolm), and Karrie of Ottawa. She was a proud and cherished Nan to Matthew (Mieka), Ashley (Jay), Joshua (Aidan), Brandon (Justine), Alex (Meredith), Parker, Akasha (Dylan), and lovingly remembered her late grandchildren Scott, Evann, and Ryan. She was also a treasured Great-nan to Heath.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the doctors, nurses and palliative care team at The Ottawa Hospital-General Campus for their care and compassion. A very special thank you to Elaine Campbell, mom’s devoted caregiver and truly our angel in disguise, who guided and supported us through mom’s final journey with grace and kindness.
Friends and family are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate the lives of both our parents, Connie and Bill (who passed away during covid), at a reception to be held at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services on March 02, 2026, from 1-3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to CHEO, the Leukemia Foundation, or the Ottawa Heart Institute.
