Passed away July 16th 2025 in his home at the age of 75. Loving father of his two children Tara (John) and Mackenzie (Monica). Cherished grandfather to Connor, Jordan, Phaelynn and Jesse. Dear brother to Dianne (Ron) and predeceased by his brother Jim. Proud uncle to many nieces and nephews. He loved his family and was proud of all of us. He would always compliment and praise his family members every chance he got. He was a good man and will be remembered by many friends.

Kind and respectful to those around him, he always went out of his way to help others. Those who knew him, knew that he was proud of his Scottish heritage and would tell anyone all about it. He always talked about seeing Scotland one day.

He loved his drums and his music which were always a big part of his life. He collected records and loved to play them. He would also often set up his drums on Canada Day and play them for hours, bringing him great joy. He also had a book of music that he was writing. In the mornings, he would have his coffee and do his crossword puzzles, which he enjoyed and always said that they kept his mind sharp.

Although you are gone, you will live on in our hearts. We will miss you dearly. Until we meet again, may you rest in peace. I love you Daddy and will always be your “Pumpkin”.

I'm so very sorry for the loss of your daddy. It'll take time to adjust to his loss, you'll want to call him then remember he's not here, you can't reach him by phone but you can close your eyes, envision him and silently talk to him. Always think he's happy where he is there's no illness,no addictions,no stress or worries. Smile and think of him everyday he'll see you.

My loving brother you left us so soon no time to say I love and goodbye. I’ll always remember your phone calls so early in the morning with a message on answering machine “ Hope I didn’t wake you? call me around 6pm I love you”
Your voice and words will always be in my heart and in my head and I will be hearing you say you’re a damn fine homely looking woman. I still haven’t come to terms with the fact that you’re gone and I’ll never see or talk to you again, but I can always talk to you through my heart with my mind and my memory of all that we have shared in the little time that we had together I am so thankful that we were brought together, even though it was later in life. Both you and Jim are gone, my oldest brother and my baby brother may you both be together in this new life enjoy your time with each other and get to know each other Jim and Ian I love youse both and we miss you both very very much that void and that hole in my heart has been filled even though it’s been broken by the loss of you both, my heart is full of love and life from having you both in it. The bear misses you very much. Keep saying too bad he wasn’t able to come for a visit. The Bear misses you little brother.

RIP loving brother. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We are deeply saddened to hear about your loss. The memories of the good times you had together will stay with you always. Your father is not far; he is as close as a thought away.

Today is your birthday Daddy. You would have been 76. There are no words to describe the emptiness I feel and the hole that you left in my life and in my heart. I love you beyond words and I miss you deeply. Although today is a hard day, I know you will be with me in spirit. Always your “Pumpkin”.

Your Loving Daughter.
