Lorna Joan Patricia (MacDonald) Miles, born March 17, 1935, died March 15, 2026, two days short of her 91st birthday.
Beloved wife of Barton Miles and devoted mother of Laura, Barbara (Tom), Catherine (Charlie), Robert (Kathy) and Craig (Sherry).
Proud grandmother of Jennifer, Melissa, Miles, Victoria (Cory), Jessica, Dale, Michael, Matthew, Christina, Daniel, Cecily and Graham, and great-grandmother of Leiah, Landon, Nolan, Annabelle, Tilly, Shea, Walter and Malcolm.
Lorna was endlessly curious about the world around her, a committed volunteer to a variety of organizations, and in moves across Canada with her husband easily made friends wherever she landed. She had a lovely singing voice which will be missed by residents of Perley Health, and a terrific sense of humour. She loved nothing more than a good laugh with friends and family.
A private celebration of life will be held later this spring.
Lorna’s family wishes to express their appreciation and gratitude to the wonderful staff of Perley Health who cared for her over her time there.
