It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Allevato on November 22, 2025 at the age of 61.
Maria was the cherished daughter of the late Franco and Stella Allevato, niece to the late Frank Allevato (Myrna) and to Tony Allevato (Terri). She will be lovingly remembered by her cousins Gina (Joe), Andrea (late Jeff), Julie (Ricardo) and Anthony (Alena), as well as her extended family and friends.
A woman guided by love in all she did, she was known for her generous spirit and unmistakable physical affection. She was never one to shy away from hugs and kisses. She had a vibrant, playful side as well, especially evident in her lifelong passion for the band KISS. Their music always brought her joy. She earned her college diploma in Floral Design at Algonquin College, and loved sharing her passion for flower arranging with others
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue) on Friday, December 5th at 10am. Reception and Interment to follow at Beechwood.

Maria was a very caring and loving person and a good friend. She, her mom and I shared many laughs and great meals together. God bless her - no more suffering.

When you look up the definition of love, Maria(Mary) was just that. A true friend, loyal cousin and someone who loved deeply. Her phone calls to check in on everyone was a beautiful expression of love and genuine concern for her family and friends. Maria is on her journey to join the one person she missed the most. Her mom.
I look forward to a time when we will all reunite and that intense love that you would show us will bring back that warmth to our hearts 💕

Maria loved with all her heart and told you so every time you talked to her which was pretty often. We'll all miss those calls. She's gone too soon but is now reunited with her mom and dad. Rest in peace sweetheart.
Maria had a spirit that defied easy definition. She was a singular person in her kindness and loyalty to those she loved. Rest in peace dear Maria.
