Odile Mactavish (née Ménard) passed away on 22 February, 2025. She is survived by her brother Jean-Michel Ménard; two daughters: Stephanie Peterson (née Mactavish) and Cassandra Mactavish; her sons in law Kevin Peterson and Stephen Penton and her beloved grandchildren, Anastasia (21), Mariska (18), David (15) and Tristan (13).
Born in Paris, she met her late husband David when working for the Royal Canadian Air Force in Paris. They soon moved to Canada which became her adopted home. An active, dynamic and warm woman, Odile will be remembered for her passion for bridge, incredible cooking and volunteer work.
A celebration of life is planned in Ottawa on 19 July, more details to follow.
