Following a long goodbye and just four weeks shy of his 92nd birthday Paul left us on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Dearly loved husband of Anne, loved and respected father of Michel (Maureen), Markus (Leslie) and Neil Henderson (Jennifer). Proud and loving Opa of Stephanie (Yannick), Natalie (Dustin), Melanie (Andre), the late Jenny, Maria and James. Gopa to eight darling great-grandchildren. Survived by brother Ron (Diane) and family in Ottawa, sister, Olga and family in Germany, and many dear friends.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services. A private service will take place. Donations, if desired, to The Dementia Society.

Dear Markus and Leslie: Although, I never knew your extended families, in my time with Jenny I saw the comfort and assistance you received from them. As teachers, we know how important family support is with a child with special needs. I will never forget the beautiful letter that Leslie and Markus wrote in the newspaper thanking all of the many helpers with her over the years. I am so sorry for your loss, it's never easy.
