It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Ralph Sullivan. After a life well lived, he passed peacefully in his sleep on September 4, 2025, surrounded by family. He will be dearly missed by his wife Irene, and children Corene (Gennaro) and Michael (Ai). He was the proud grandfather of Coco and Kai; dear brother to Pat, Linda and Mark; and dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Ralph was an inquisitive and outgoing individual, both selfless and kind. He never missed the chance to connect - whether with friends or complete strangers - finding joy and meaning in every conversation. He loved to walk, to read, and to travel, and enjoyed staying active throughout his life.

Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Ralph’s life on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa, from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Saint Elizabeth Foundation would be appreciated.

We’re so saddened by Ralph’s passing. He’ll always be remembered as a true Canadian who gave so much to his community with heart and dedication. For us, Ralph was more than just a neighbour — he was a friend. We’ll always treasure the many chats we shared over the years while working and wandering around our homes. His kindness, warmth, and genuine spirit touched us in a lasting way. Our thoughts are with Irene and the whole family in this difficult time.

Repose en paix Ralph,
ta lumière continuera de briller et de nous inspirer pour un monde meilleur.

Heartbroken to hear about Ralph's passing. We live a few houses up the street from Ralph and Irene. He was a wonderful man - very kind and friendly. He always left us cards on Christmas and St Patrick's day. I will miss seeing his smiling face on his daily walks.

Our deepest condolences to Irene and the family.
