Our hearts are heavy and mournful that our dear mom Violette Magas Paquet passed this morning, February 25th at 2am. It was a calm and peaceful passing with the help of Micheline at the CHSLD Masham. Her Demetia had advanced quickly this past week. We are so grateful that mom is now at peace on her next chapter with our heavenly family.
Mom was an autonomous, strong, supportive and loving mother to Mark Paquet, Richard Paquet and myself Joanne Paquet . She was a caring grandmother to Spencer Stacey, Eric Wallace, Rachel Butterworth, Rebecca Wallace, Amelie Paquet, Corey Paquet, Gilles Paquet, Amanda Rewucki, loving great grandmother to Lucca Stacey, Tristan and Lacey Wallace/ Paquet, Ethan and Abby Butterworth, Bently, Bradon, Bralynn Leslie and Brody Wallace, Sophie and Enzo Rewucki, kind sister inlaw to Jean D’arc, Pierrette, Nicole, Guy, Mario, Rock, Renaud and Claudette Paquet, loving daughter to Antoinette and Anthony Magas. Mom also had a loving extended family growing up in Transconna Manitoba. Bobby, Billy and Freddy Miller.
Our father Gilles Paquet died 50 years ago so mom over those years carried the responsibilities and milestones as a widow for our family with her calm and supportive ways. Mom loved all of us with a tranquil charm and grace. She loved music, animals and living in the country surrounded by nature. We love and appreciate you mom with every part of our being.
Her internment will be with our dad at Beachwood Cemetery in Ottawa. A celebration of life will be held later in the spring.
