With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Zuo Xinglian, who passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025 in Ottawa surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Hubei, China on February 21 1945, Xinglian lived a life marked by joy, kindness, and resilience. She will be remembered for her unwavering commitment to family and community in both China and Canada. Her love for dance, singing and faith in God, will forever be cherished by many.
Xinglian is survived by her daughter Amy (Edmund), son Guangming (Chuen Shi), her 3 grandchildren Jiamin, Jeffrey (Celine) and Jessica, who will carry forward her legacy with love and gratitude.
The family welcomes all to Beechwood Cemetery, Funeral and Cremation Services on Thursday, October 16 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm with the interment taking place at 3:00pm. All who knew Xinglian are invited to honor and celebrate a life lived to the full.
Xinglian will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
